The historic pair of Shiva temple situated on the southern side of the Khulna Mahasaka of Jessore in Murali under Jessore Municipality. Laksman Sen was the last king of the Sen Dynasty. He was a Shiva devotee who was the President. Many temples were established in the remote areas of Bengal by King Laksman Sen. Among them, two of Shiva temples of Murali in Jessore district are very pleasant. King Lakshman Sen founded the temple on the west bank of Bhairab Nand in 1189 AD for both Shiva devotees. Shiva (Mahadev) statue built in the temple, placed on the altar, was held by Yogas. There are bulls or bulls lying beside them. Accordingly, the temple is about 823 years old. Even though the years have passed, the proof of construction is so strong and it has not been eroded due to the protection of the local people. The place of residence of Pujari, near the temple, was a large open square for the devotees to celebrate. The property of the established temple is recorded as Deobaltar. The temple carries two archaeological and religious traditions. Its mastery of construction is very pleasing. The height of this temple is about 40 feet, 15 feet by length and width. Thirty in the top, Ganesh in the bottom of it, Shiva in one, the uppermost uppermost and tea bird, the artwork, the curved door is almost 2 in the east and the other two north and southwards. Two horse and lovely lotus fighting on the door. The temple is comparable to two sunrises in Konark (in Odisha). The temple is written on 1189 BC.
